Ett Rum

Ett rum exhibition hall

Ett Rum is a private cultural space developed as part of Nordic Standard.

Conceived as an apartment — Ett Rum, meaning “a room” in Swedish — it presents art and design in a domestic setting, in direct relation to how we live.

Dedicated to art and design with references to the Nordic countries, where light, materiality and a connection to nature are central.

A fusion of influences and cultural references brings together artists who share this sensibility.

We present a selection of international artists — both established and emerging — and collaborate with them across our residential projects.

The starting point is simple: no home is complete without art.

Ett Rum also hosts private viewings, meetings and smaller gatherings, creating a setting where art, design and architecture become the starting point for new conversations and relationships.

A living apartment, a space where the artworks coexist with contemporary Scandinavian furniture and where each exhibition dialogues with the interior design and the light of the space.”  - Arquitectura y Diseño

Ett Rum proposes a dialogue between art, design and everyday life. A space where each work invites a rethinking of the relationship with the surroundings, where the essential takes centre stage and where art ceases to be an exception to become a way of being in the world.” - Gentleman, El Periódico
